Kitchen Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for Assisting the Restaurant Kitchen Manager in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of associates in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

• →Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• →Ability to communicate clearly on various levels to include senior management, guests, vendors, and associates.
• →Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team.
• →Good knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentations are helpful.

• Excellent organizational, problem solving, supervisory and time management skills required.
• Must have multi-task skills and experience to implement large group activities that require the coordination of numerous services.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management, and guests.
