Apprentice Automotive Service Technician 4th year

Kal Tire in South Edmonton, AB. is growing its mechanical team and is looking for a 4th Year Registered Apprentice who is confident performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. Registered Journeyperson Automotive Service Technicians who are interested in joining our team are also encouraged to apply, with compensation adjusted to reflect certification and experience. • This position offers starting wages of $33.60/ hour. We offer a clear path for career advancement with wage increases along the way.

• →Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance. 
• →Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment. 
• →Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks. 
• →Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team. 
• →Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks. 

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified 
• A valid driver’s license. 
• Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments. 
• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. 
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
