As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will lead complex, cross-functional programs that span multiple engineering and product teams.
You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution against key priorities, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality delivery.
This is an individual contributor role focused on strong execution, structured problem solving, and clear communication. You will operate with a high degree of ownership within defined program areas, while collaborating with Staff TPMs and leadership on broader initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex technical programs across multiple teams.
- Define program scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans.
- Track progress against goals and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Identify and resolve blockers to maintain program momentum.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Data, and Operations teams to align priorities and execution plans.
- Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and ensure clear ownership.
- Drive alignment through regular communication and structured program reviews.
- Identify risks, issues, and trade-offs early in the program lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate effectively when needed with clear context and options.
- Provide clear, consistent updates on program status, risks, and milestones.
- Maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track program health.
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and leadership.
- Contribute to improving program management practices and team execution.
- Support adoption of standard tools, processes, and operating rhythms.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce execution friction.
Within 12 months:
- Consistent delivery of complex programs on time and within scope.
- Clear visibility into program status, risks, and dependencies.
- Strong cross-team alignment and reduced execution friction.
- Effective risk management and minimal surprises in delivery.
- Positive feedback from engineering and product stakeholders.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required.
- 6–10+ years of experience leading technical programs in a software or SaaS environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional programs across multiple engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering processes.
- Solid technical foundation with ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and data flows.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive execution.
- Advanced degree (MS or MBA) is a plus.
- Experience working in SaaS platforms or multi-product environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML initiatives, platform integrations, or large-scale migrations.
- Familiarity with Agile or similar development methodologies.
- Experience working in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
CAD $120,000 – CAD $139,156 annually
