Responsibilities
~1 min read· Install and configure HVAC controls, including sensors, actuators, thermostats, and building automation systems.
· Program and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
· Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC control systems.
· Identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime for clients.
· Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for system installations and repairs.
· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
· Document work performed, including service reports, programming changes, and recommendations for system improvements.
· Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards while conducting fieldwork.

Requirements
~1 min read· High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification in HVAC, electronics, or related field preferred.
· 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, or similar position, i.e. electrician
· Proven experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems (e.g., Johnson Controls, Verasys, Metasys, Honeywell, Alerton, LCBS).
· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and control components.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in HVAC control systems.
· Effective communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and travel to local job sites.
· Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other HVAC communication protocols.
· Experience with energy management systems and optimization.
· Industry certifications such as EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent.
