This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Closing and Risk Monitoring Actuary. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise to dynamic environments and contributing to the client’s actuarial and risk monitoring activities.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Actuarial follow-up of the company’s technical result, including analysis of cash flows across all risks and business lines (premium volume, claims, commissions, reinsurance, etc.), and reporting on technical profitability per risk/product and globally.
- →Support the Technical Risk Monitoring department to achieve high quality standards in line with actuarial governance.
- →Perform all related tasks at a master level, providing expertise and advice in specific actuarial areas.
- →Support the actuarial team in operational closing processes, reporting, analysis, and, where possible, automation of recurring tasks.
- →Provide proactive advice and specialized actuarial services to the department.
- →Follow-up and calculation of technical reserves, providing opinions on the adequacy of methods used.
- →Analyze and follow up on production and claims experience.
- →Prepare and report technical results for quarterly closings.
- →Conduct various studies (e.g., Boni-Mali).
- →Communicate and collaborate with other departments (Pricing, Solvency II, IFRS17, etc.).
- →Adapt or set up necessary tools, automate recurrent processes, and help make business-as-usual activities more efficient.
Requirements
~1 min read- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is optional if French is fluent.
- Master’s degree in actuarial science.
- At least 6 years of experience in the actuarial field.
- Strong MS Office (Excel & Access) skills.
- Experience with Python, SAS, or VBA coding.
- Actuarial experience in closing/reporting, IFRS4-like vision.
- Experience with BNPP tools and financial processes is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of the actuarial/insurance sector.
- Ability to deliver high quality work on time and work within diversified procedures and standards.
- Accuracy, strong analytical and synthesis skills, team spirit, risk awareness, organizational sensitivity, respect of deadlines, autonomy, proactivity, problem-solving, communication skills, and result-driven attitude.
- Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
