This is a consultancy mission for a Data Engineer Expert at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired by Keystone Solutions to work on client projects, delivering value and expertise in dynamic environments.
The Data Engineer is a key contributor in preparing and making data available in a safe and secure manner for multiple usages by businesses and functions, including reporting, analytics, and applications. You will deliver well-designed and running data assets for global or local usage, supporting productivity for all data consumers.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collect business requirements through various requirements techniques.
- →Translate requirements into efficient data solutions by designing data flows, data models, data stores/data sets, mapping rules, and access mechanisms.
- →Analyze the best sources of data and define business and technical rules for integration.
- →Prototype solutions to support business validation.
- →Design and develop logical and physical data models and data stores, and industrialize the feeding and deliveries from integrated data stores (data warehouse, data marts, data sets).
- →Streamline data pipelines across the enterprise for maximum usage throughout the company or business/function.
All these responsibilities will be carried out under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model, ensuring you bring expertise and adaptability to every client engagement.
Requirements
~1 min read- Dutch: knowledge is a plus
- French: knowledge is a plus
- English: fluent
- At least a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering (a PhD is considered an advantage).
- Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
- Mandatory: Modelisation, PowerDesigner
- Preferable: Data Vault modelisation
- Team player
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Autonomy, commitment, and perseverance
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
- Based in Brussels, with an expectation of 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
