Production, Non-Apparel Intern, Summer 2026

Founded in 2016 by creative director Catherine Holstein and based in New York, KHAITE evolves with each season, building upon a foundation of robust yet polished items distinguished by exceptional materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and subtle yet striking details. 

We are looking for a Production, Non-Apparel Intern to join the KHAITE team for this Summer Semester. This role will report to the Director, Production Operations, Non-Apparel and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.

• →Coordinate sample launches, ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared for development partners in Italy
• →Assist with mock-ups, material allocations, and technical documentation required for sample execution
• →Help update and maintain design boards with the latest product information, including style names, material swatches, color references, Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• →Organize samples for fittings as well as maintain working space organized
• →Maintain and organize all incoming and outgoing sample packages
• →Assist with the production process by adding information to the technical packages, specs, and approvals with Italy-based vendors
• →Track production timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of bulk materials and finished goods
• →Support with product repairs and customer inquiries in coordination with the production and merchandising teams
• →Help with the structure, layout, and formatting of internal presentations and seasonal review decks

• Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or a related field
• Previous experience in production in non-apparel category
• Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in RLM is a plus
