9580 - Golf Retail Attendant Non Exempt Position Summary: The Golf Pro Shop provides casual, friendly service while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The retail attendant position with the assistance of managers and supervisors, is to proficiently attend to the guests’ needs with accurate and informative service. Operation of a point of sale system, responding to guest both in person and via telephone are integral to this position.    Qualifications:  Minimum Education – Currently in school working towards graduation, have already received a high school diploma or GED Minimum Experience - 6 months prior retail experience with a similar retail establishment preferred. Ability to complete monetary transactions correctly. Must be able work both independently as well in a team environment. Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written. Employee must be able to make good decisions with confidential information regarding events and guests of Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Must be able to work on site due in person sales force and guest interaction. Must be able to stand for entirety of shift, bending, stretching, and lifting. Must be able to properly and effectively communicate with guests, in person and via phone.
