🚀 What is KidStrong?
KidStrong is a science-based training program that helps kids win at life. We build strong, confident, high-character kids by developing the whole child—body, brain, and character—through high-energy, coach-led classes. Our program serves ages crawling through 11 years old and accelerates milestones through expert coaching, cutting-edge curriculum, and strong parent partnership.
At KidStrong, we’re growing fast and making a lasting impact, and we’re looking for a driven, dynamic General Manager to lead our team, grow our membership, and deliver an exceptional family experience.
🎯 The Role: General Manager
As the General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind sales, operations, and team leadership at KidStrong. You’ll lead membership growth efforts, optimize center operations, and develop a high-performing team culture that aligns with our mission. You’ll wear many hats, but always with purpose and impact.
This is not your typical 9-to-5. It’s a fast-paced, leadership role built for someone who thrives on accountability, loves to engage with families, and leads with both heart and hustle.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth
✅ Drive new membership growth through high-volume outbound sales efforts (100+ calls/week typical)
✅ Own the full sales pipeline & team, manage inbound leads, book and convert trials, follow up with prospects
✅ Track and exceed KPIs across trials, conversions, revenue, and communication metrics
✅ Develop marketing events at a local level to drive lead generation campaigns, community activations, and local partnerships
✅ Deliver a mission-aligned sales experience that builds trust and communicates value to families
Center Leadership & Operations
✅ Ensure the center runs smoothly, professionally, and on-brand every day
✅ Oversee front desk systems: check-ins, guest / trial registration, transactions, delinquent account follow-up, customer care, and schedule changes
✅ Collaborate with the Coaching Team to ensure aligned execution of classes and programs
✅ Manage scheduling, budgets, center cleanliness, and compliance with KidStrong policies and operational standards
✅ Respond promptly to corporate, owner, and member requests
Team Management & Culture
✅ Hire, train, and develop team members
✅ Lead by example modeling professionalism, drive, and mission-driven performance
✅ Maintain strong internal communication about trial families, member needs, team updates, etc.
✅ Foster a team culture rooted in ownership, accountability, fun, and continuous improvement
🧩 Who You Are
✨ A bold, confident leader, you think like an owner and inspire others to do the same
✨ Driven by results, you thrive in a sales-forward, performance-based environment
✨ Highly organized and adaptable, you balance structure with agility and always move with urgency
✨ A natural communicator, you build trust, give clear feedback, and coach others to grow
✨ Passionate about kids, families, and creating positive change, you want your work to matter
📚 Qualifications
• 4+ years of leadership experience in sales, fitness, education, or service-based roles
• Proven experience with outbound phone sales and CRM systems (100+ calls/week preferred)
• Track record managing KPIs, revenue, scheduling, payroll, and team performance
• Strong tech proficiency, comfortable using Google Office, web apps, etc.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, education, or related field preferred
• Availability to work at least 3–4 weekday evenings and weekend day(s)
• Bonus: Experience in children’s fitness, enrichment programs, or center-based operations
