Our People and Inclusion team is responsible for providing the full range of human resources advisory, recruitment and learning and development services to all divisions and teams across all offices of KPMG New Zealand. The team is a critical component of KPMG’s focus on helping our people thrive and grow.
The People Centre is the hub of People & Inclusion operations.  They work closely with the HR Advisory, Learning, Talent & Mobility, Reward and IDE teams, while also coordinating with the ITS, office Operations, Risk, Brand, Finance and Business Performance functions.
 
As a People Centre Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional employee experience across the firm. You'll provide high-quality people administration, ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data, and support seamless, consistent People services that help our people thrive.
 
We are open to applicants who are based in either Auckland, Tauranga or Christchurch for this position. 
  • Play a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience by providing accurate, timely people administration across the full employee lifecycle and supporting core People processes.
  • Be the guardian of our people data, ensuring HRIS information is accurate, up to date, and trusted to support compliance, reporting, and informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to projects and initiatives that simplify processes, enhance service delivery, and improve the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing People Centre team to share knowledge, maintain best practice, safeguard sensitive information, and provide exceptional support to employees and stakeholders across the firm.
  • 2-3 years solid admin experience.
  • Outstanding administration, planning and organisation skills - with the ability to determine priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of people.
  • Advanced business application skills (including as a minimum Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Very high level of attention to detail.
  • Innovative, solution-focused and a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with a flexible approach to work and ability to work additional hours if required.
  • Articulate and clear written communication skills.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team.
