Financial Institutions - Analyst (MD)

• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and presentations from financial institutions that include tracking and analyzing the financial performance of rated financial institutions
• Aggregates and summarizes data that will be used in committee memos, detailed research reports, and analytical materials
• Collaborate with team members to produce comprehensive industry reports
• Assist in the monitoring of a portfolio of financial institutions to identify and assess significant developments
• Provide support to the team in conjunction with the creation, proofing, editing, and publishing of press releases and reports as well as archiving key data related to the ratings process

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience within financial services or a related field.
• Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or, accounting.
• Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as advanced Excel skills. 
• Organized and highly detail-oriented, accustomed to allocating time to double-check work.
• Naturally inquisitive and strong desire to develop analytical skills and learn different business models
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $80,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
