Job Summary  The Logistics Solutions Specialist II is responsible for managing logistics strategies, documentation, and compliance for clinical trial projects of increasing complexity. This role supports study setup, maintenance, and execution, ensuring accurate logistics documentation and global compliance. The Logistics Solutions Specialist II manages a portfolio of complex studies and collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners. This role is based in the United States.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with Setup Managers, Strategic Client Managers and Project Managers to ensure that all logistics needs for assigned projects / programs are clearly defined and documented. Manage 20-40 studies at a time, which are classified as complex with a high level of importance.  Provide immediate response to Project Management on logistics queries and concerns. Serve as the primary logistics contact for Project Management and Client Services and is in direct contact with Sponsors and/or Contract Research Organizations in case of specific logistics topics.  Investigate, with support of colleagues in the logistics team, feasibility for shipping lanes in support of client objectives for site and laboratory locations; make recommendations for transit strategies.  Support in creating a document of site-instructions, i.e., Starter Packs, in collaboration with the selected carrier(s). Develop logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes for assigned projects / programs. Develop and execute processes for drafting and managing pro-forma and shipment-specific invoices across all partners, vendors and regions. Manage all logistics documents required for movement of materials and biological specimens across global borders for assigned projects / programs; review and facilitate signatures per site/country. Explain the performance of international carriers and logistics solutions of the assigned projects / programs, based on data. Implement and maintain processes to handle daily transactions as necessary to ensure timely movement of products from origin to destination for assigned projects / programs. Assume all responsibilities of other roles in the Logistics Team when required in support of assigned projects / programs. Participates in investigation and corrective/preventive actions for Quality Events related to logistics failures in assigned projects/programs.     Education and Experience BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.  4+ years of industry-related logistics experience in managing clinical studies required. Experience managing complex clinical studies preferred.  Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, third party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required.     Skills and Ability Able to operate at a fast pace and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with tight deadlines. Strong communication skills. Able to work independently.  Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude. Full fluency in English Must have strong math abilities Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software.  Experience leading and mentoring others preferred.      Supervisory Responsibilities: None Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the occupant is regularly required to: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged use of a computer and headphones for conference calls. Communicate effectively via phone, video, and email. Use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.   Travel Requirements: No travel required
