Heavy Equipment Operator Needed in Palm Coast Florida
Job Type: Part / Full-Time
Location: Palm Coast, FL
Pay: $18-$20 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Palm Coast, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery safely and efficiently while supporting construction, site development, excavation, utility, and earthmoving projects.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and skid steers.
Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation work.
Read and interpret project plans, grade stakes, and job specifications.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete maintenance reports.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Work closely with project supervisors and crew members to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Identify and report equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications
Required

Minimum 6 months of heavy equipment operating experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred

CDL License.
Experience with GPS machine control systems (Topcon, Trimble, etc.).
Underground utility installation experience.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
