Warehouse Coordinator 2nd Shift - NROC

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods 

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor 

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse 

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy 

Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems 

Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status 

Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, or other labeling equipment 

Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations 

Training, delegating, and reviewing the work of lower-level employees 

Proven work experience working in a Warehouse setting 

Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures 

Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency 

Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data 

Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology 

Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies. 

Excellent inventory methods and practices. 

Ability to adapt to changing operational and organization needs. 

Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines. 

Ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems. 

Experience working in a union environment. 

Experience in using SAP. 

Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Ability to adapt to work schedule dependent on business and operation needs. 

This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours. 

High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and three years warehouse or related experience. 

Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. 

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.  

Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.  

Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.  

Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds  

Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases
