We are recruiting for a number CCTV Technical Specialists to equips our engineers with vital network insights to boost proactive maintenance, validate reactive fixes, and enhance overall efficiency. The CCTV Technical Specialist role is designed to empower our client, with valuable insights into the condition of their network. This will facilitate a strategic approach to planning proactive maintenance cleans and provide clear evidence of successful resolutions for reactive operations, driving efficiency and reliability across their business.


Position: CCTV Technical Specialist (may also be known as CCTV Coordinator in the utilities sector)

Location: Millbrook Depot (Southampton, Hampshire)

Job Type: permanent, full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum, depending upon experience

About the Role:

Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Southern Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. Your responsibilities will cover the following:


  • Reviewing CCTV footage captured by engineers on waste networks attendances.
  • Recommending further sewer cleaning works, including sewer rehabilitation.
  • Ensuring all footage matches the activity requested.
  • Raising engineer re-attendances where required to ensure works are completed correctly.
  • Escalate any problems with CCTV footage.
  • Liaising with Planners, Engineers, Field Management Teams and external Southern Water Stakeholders.
  • Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them
  • Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, tasks and projects requested by the management team

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information with care, taking into account UK GDPR legislation
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written
