Purpose of the role:
The HR Business Partner – Projects & Transformation plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic people initiatives that enable business transformation, organisational change, and continuous improvement across the Group. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, this role provides expert guidance and leadership on the people aspects of change, ensuring initiatives are effectively planned, delivered, and sustainably embedded within the business.
You will lead and deliver complex, end-to-end people projects that support growth, operational efficiency, and cultural evolution, including organisational design, restructures, and process improvements. By combining commercial awareness with strong HR expertise, you will ensure that all transformation activity is aligned to business objectives while maintaining a clear focus on employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing throughout periods of change
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver HR projects that support business transformation, organisational change, and growth initiatives.
- Lead and implement end-to-end people-related projects, including organisational design, restructures, cultural change, and process improvement.
- Provide expert HR guidance on change management, ensuring effective planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making, track project outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Talent, Reward & L&D to ensure alignment and consistency in project delivery.
- Support the development and execution of people strategies that align with wider business objectives and transformation programmes.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in line with employment legislation, company policies, and best practice.
- Coach and support leaders through periods of change, building capability and confidence in leading their teams.
- Drive employee engagement and support a positive employee experience during periods of transformation.
Required:
- Proven experience leading HR projects within transformation and organisational change.
- Strong change management capability, including stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, with experience coaching leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred.
