Position Description:

We’re looking for a Manager to lead our growing EDI team.

In this role, you’ll directly manage our diverse team of EDI staff. You’ll be responsible for our customer throughput: ensuring projects are assigned and completed according to our best practices while measuring staff performance against benchmarks. You’ll also drive the team’s success by developing training programs, proving mentorship, completing evaluations, and designing process improvements.

Additionally, candidates with prior experience with EDI and/or exposure to ERP systems will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 20 direct reports (training, evaluating, 1:1 coaching)
  • Manage our customer project pipeline (assignments, schedules, escalations, cancellations) to ensure throughput meets targets
  • Track staff KPIs and report to leadership team
  • Assist in delivering process improvements
  • Ensure customer escalations are managed per best practices
  • Have a “pulse” on the department to quickly assess and redeploy resources as needed
  • Develop training and improvement programs
  • Represent the voice of EDI staff in internal meetings and problem-solving discussions


Skill Requirements:   

  • 5+ years of Salesforce reporting experience
  • Exceptional organization and follow-up skills; you naturally own tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; you’re a “people person” with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others achieve their best
  • Understanding of purchasing documents (Orders, invoices, ship notices, etc.)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Effective problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams (operations, technical, and sales staff).
  • Competent and comfortable in the use of computers, including standard business software such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Technical fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).


Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and data transport protocols (SFTP, AS2, VAN, etc.)
  • Exposure to various Accounting/ERP/POS systems such as Infor SXe, Epicor Eclipse, SAP, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience using JIRA, Monday.com, and Zendesk


Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of management experience of a large, diverse, and hybrid team.
  • Management experience in a SaaS or software environment is preferred.
  • Additional post-secondary education in management, business, communications, or a related field.


Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience and qualifications
