  • Oversee and support jobsite safety training
  • Travel to jobsites as required (overnight travel may be necessary)

On-Site (In-Office) Responsibilities (Average 3+ days per week)

  • Conduct safety training for new hires, including:
    • Company policies and procedures
    • Forklift operation
    • Vehicle operation and safety
  • Develop and implement safety training materials, videos, and guidelines
  • Review daily telematics data for trucks and equipment; address compliance and connectivity issues with employees
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions
  • Investigate and analyze paint-related claims
  • Coordinate and organize annual spring training programs
  • Assist with safety-related communication, including management of company social media pages
  • Actively participate in employee discipline processes related to safety and policy violations

Qualifications

  • Prior safety experience in construction, transportation, or a related field preferred
  • General knowledge of OSHA/VOSHA regulations and safety compliance standards or the ability to research and learn
  • Strong investigative and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with employees at all levels
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to analyze telematics data
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required

What We’re Looking For

  • A proactive leader who promotes accountability to work alongside our operations team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive matters appropriately
  • A team-oriented individual who can build trust with field crews while upholding company standards
  • Someone who values structure, consistency, and continuous improvement

If this role feels like a great fit for you and your experience aligns with what we’re looking for, we’d love to see your resume.  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value a diverse and inclusive workplace.
