Salary Range: $160,000-$185,000, depending on experience.
What You Will Do:
The Technical Consultant is a pivotal role responsible for driving cloud adoption and transformation initiatives within the organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to improve the cloud onboarding experience and drive a cultural shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Identify content customers need to understand cloud and develop resources to enable the cloud onboarding experience (from onboarding to provisioning). Create surveys to assess customer experiences and identify gaps, providing input to improve processes. Understand concerns customers have with their cloud transitions, providing documented resources to address them. Assist with cloud cultural transformation initiatives within the organization, driving adoption and best practices. Facilitate cloud enablement discussions and sessions to educate stakeholders on the benefits and capabilities of cloud technologies and address concerns. Assist in the development of strategy to support organizational wide cultural shift to cloud. Interact with commercial cloud providers to ensure customers stay updated on the latest offerings and best practices. Build and maintain Confluence pages and SiteWorks websites to document cloud processes, best practices, and FAQs. Create and update training materials and user guides to keep the user-base informed and educated. Be articulate and well-spoken, capable of giving presentations to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. Conduct and/or facilitate workshops and training sessions and prepare related communications to enhance cloud literacy across the organization. Author newsletters, whitepapers, and articles to facilitate cultural change. Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth cloud adoption and ongoing management. Gather and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of cloud onboarding and organizational concerns, and identify areas for improvement. Possess a working understanding of cloud technologies and offerings, including models. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
- 10+ years of proven experience in change management and in implementing large cultural shifts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to give clear and engaging presentations
- Process-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with Confluence, SiteWorks or similar documentation tools
- Ability to gather and interpret metrics to drive decision-making
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience
Desired:
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect)
- Familiarity with FINOPS practices and tools
- Understanding of industry best practices in regard to Digital Transformation Change Management (Prosci)
