Level is seeking a Technical Designer to prototype and drive new interactive or gameplay experiences within our platform.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex game systems and mechanics.

Ensure that gameplay systems are flexible, scalable, and optimized for performance across a variety of devices and platforms.

Translate high-level design concepts into actionable technical solutions while maintaining creative integrity and player engagement.

Create dynamic interactions and systems using your equal love of planning, prototyping, documenting, and building
- →
Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and workflows that support the design and iteration process.

Own whole aspects of innovative feature and/or system development, helping to prioritize and scope designs as necessary

Work closely with engineers to ensure that the technical requirements of the game align with the design goals.

Coordinate with external contractors to ensure their works align with the design vision and execution for our outsourced projects.
Requirements
~1 min read3+ years of experience in a technical design role in the game industry.
Demonstrated scripting experience, preference towards C# knowledge
Demonstrated experience collaborating on and solving interesting design challenges
Familiar working with a cross-discipline team
Engine experience
Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively in both in person and fully remote, global environments
