The Associate Product Manager, Laundry plays a key role in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for LG's laundry portfolio. This position serves as a critical link between Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Forecasting, and Training teams to ensure successful product launches, business performance, and market competitiveness.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving business results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Support the end-to-end management of new product introductions, including product setup, pricing, marketing assets, training materials, and launch execution.
- Track and coordinate critical milestones throughout the product development and launch process.
- Suggest product enhancements and improvements to strengthen the customer experience and product competitiveness.
- Conduct weekly analysis of sell-out trends at the account level and provide forecast recommendations to Sales and Forecasting teams.
- Financially model business opportunities and challenges and present recommendations to Product Management leadership.
- Analyze market trends, business performance, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Support the development of business plans and product positioning strategies.
- Assist in establishing pricing and promotional strategies in partnership with product leadership.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive data to support product decisions.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Go-to-Market, Supply Chain, Forecasting, and Training teams to drive product initiatives.
- Participate in recurring cross-functional meetings to review product performance, promotional effectiveness, and market opportunities.
- Coordinate stakeholder input, approvals, and communications throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop product support materials and training documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Assist with product launch readiness by ensuring all supporting materials are accurate and completed on schedule.
- Support product knowledge initiatives across sales and training organizations.
- Conduct market visits and competitive product reviews.
- Compile and present competitive analyses and recommendations.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities or risks.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of success in Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Analysis, Category Management, Sales Planning, or a related function.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience in Consumer Electronics or Home Appliances.
- Understanding of forecasting, supply chain planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience analyzing market data, competitive intelligence, and business performance metrics.
- Familiarity with retail account management and promotional planning.
