What We Offer
~2 min readWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Service Parts Procurement Team Leader to lead our service parts procurement and supply chain management operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the full procurement lifecycle for service parts, optimize supply chain efficiency, manage international supplier relationships, and lead a high-performing team. This role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical capability, and fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Korean.
Responsibilities

- →Monitor global market conditions, including tariffs, import/export regulations, logistics costs, and other factors that may impact sourcing and supply chain planning.
- →Establish, track, and report key procurement KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory turnover, inbound freight costs, purchase price variance, and service level performance.
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas manufacturers, OEMs, and key service parts suppliers.
- →Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness, and lead improvement initiatives as needed.
- →Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including production delays, facility changes, component obsolescence, and geopolitical concerns, while developing contingency plans.
- →Convert demand forecasts into actionable delivery schedules and manage rescheduling or urgent expediting for critical service parts.
- →Maintain key ordering parameters, including lead times, MOQs, reorder points, and safety stock levels.
- →Optimize inventory levels to ensure strong parts availability while improving inventory turnover and reducing holding costs.
- →Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, After-Sales Service, and Engineering teams to support new product launches, engineering changes, and part improvements.
- →Standardize and improve procurement processes through workflow optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- →Resolve part shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- →Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team by setting goals, managing workloads, evaluating performance, and promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
~2 min read- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Procurement, or a related field is required. Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain management and/or service parts procurement, including at least 3+ years in a team leader, supervisory, or management role.
- Procurement Expertise: Strong end-to-end knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, purchase order management, expediting, supplier performance, and vendor relationship management.
- Language Requirement: Bilingual fluency in Korean and English required, with professional-level verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with global headquarters, internal teams, and overseas suppliers.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong data analysis capabilities using Advanced Excel, BI tools, or related reporting platforms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal departments and external business partners.
- Industry Experience: Professional procurement experience within service parts, spare parts, aftermarket, automotive, industrial machinery, or related industries preferred.
- Global Sourcing Knowledge: Strong experience in global sourcing, overseas supplier management, international freight coordination, and customs clearance procedures.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Proven ability to build, improve, digitize, or implement procurement processes, including ERP or SCM system enhancements.
- Certifications: Professional supply chain or procurement certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, or related credentials preferred.
