Sr. Specialist, Accounting

• →Internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
• →Preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
• →Production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• →Tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return
• →Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
• →Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies
• →Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• →Conduct thorough and timely Financial Audits
• →Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred

• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Experience working at a large company preferred
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
• MS Office Suite and ERP systems
• Management and supervisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
