As a Lead Recreation Therapist with Liberty Healthcare, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and leading a dynamic therapeutic recreation program within a secure treatment setting
- Supervising and managing a team of recreation therapists
- Assessing residents’ interests in recreational activities
- Creating, implementing, organizing and leading therapeutic recreation activities with individuals and groups
- Engaging with clients
- Fostering a positive therapeutic milieu
- Partnering with the Clinical Director and Team Leaders, and actively participating in leadership and interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
