About the Role
~1 min readProvide functional and technical support for business-critical enterprise applications within our ICT Business Applications team. This role will support finance applications such as SunSystems, iPOS and Prophix, along with other corporate applications across the broader Business Applications portfolio.
A key focus of the role is technical application administration, including patches, upgrades, databases, servers, backend support, troubleshooting and system reliability. You will work closely with end users, vendors, project teams and ICT colleagues to resolve issues, support system changes and ensure applications are stable, well governed, well documented and fit for business use.
This is a permanent full-time position and offers the flexibility to work from your preferred location anywhere in Australia, whether that is your home or one of our offices.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide technical and functional support for business-critical applications, including finance and corporate systems.
- →Administer, configure, maintain and support applications across BAU and project-related change.
- →Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, service requests and system-related queries.
- →Support technical administration activities including patches, upgrades, database-related support, server/backend activities and system maintenance.
- →Work with vendors, service providers, ICT colleagues and business stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution, system changes and improvements.
- →Support the planning, testing and implementation of system changes, fixes, patches, upgrades and enhancements.
- →Contribute to testing activities, including preparation, execution, validation of outcomes and identification of defects or risks.
- →Maintain and improve system documentation, support processes and operational knowledge.
- →Analyse system use and related processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control and user experience.
- →Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and provide practical, fit-for-purpose application support.
Requirements
~1 min read- Technical application support experience is required.
- Experience across Microsoft infrastructure technologies would be advantageous, including SQL Server, Windows Server, virtualised infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience with finance, ERP, workforce management or corporate applications would be highly regarded, including systems such as SunSystems, Prophix, iPOS, UKG Pro, DocuSign, Miro, Smartsheet and Power BI.
- Experience in an applications, systems or business systems support role, ideally in a large or geographically dispersed organisation.
- Experience supporting business applications, including configuration, issue resolution, testing, documentation and stakeholder support.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand requirements, investigate issues and support practical system-based solutions.
- Experience using structured work management, support and change processes.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify options and support effective outcomes.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in information systems, business systems, technology or a related field.
