About the Role
~1 min readProvide active support to 5 people with disability living in a Supported Independent Living home in Hampton East. You will be a dedicated and compassionate support worker who love cats, is passionate about active support and getting out and about for social activities and outings.
To provide best support the successful candidate will have experience with behaviours of concern, the ability to follow behaviour support plans and experience in mealtime management plans.
You must be able to commit to the set permanent part time roster below which includes sleepover shifts.

Responsibilities

- →Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- →Maintain thorough record keeping
- →Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- →Advocate for client choice and control
Requirements
~1 min read- A love for cats
- Experience with behaviour support plans
- Experience with mealtime management plans
- Cert IV in Disability or similar
- Ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
- Confidence and experience in providing personal care
- Experience in manual handling
- A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
- A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
