About the Role
~1 min readAs a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred support to clients living with disability. Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support clients between Forster and Taree
- →Support may be within the client’s home, 1:1 in the community, or day program centres
- →Medication, personal care and mobility assistance
- →Transportation to appointments and activities using a company van or your personal vehicle
- →Foster client choice, expression, and daily engagement with the ability to think outside of the box
- →Build and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their families
- →Ability to work flexibly between 9am to 3pm
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to drive a 10-seater van
- Unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS and Working with Children.
