About the Role

~1 min read

We're looking for an Associate Director of Clinical Operations to step into senior leadership, combining portfolio oversight with commercial management, sponsor relationship ownership, and people leadership. This role bridges operations and commercial functions, ensuring trial success while viewing trials through a commercial lens.

You'll oversee 3-5 active trials while line managing 3-5 Project Leads and Project Associates, supporting them through effective resourcing, timeline management, and strategic guidance. You'll manage commercial matters within agreed SOW parameters, own sponsor account relationships, and play a pivotal role in the handover of projects from Business Development to Clinical Operations, contributing operational expertise to the sales process.

As a Clinical Operations subject matter expert and key culture contributor, you'll shape working practices, develop SOPs, lead training programs, and serve as an escalation point for complex trial challenges.

We'd like to hear from you if…

  • You bring 10+ years of experience in clinical trials with deep expertise as a Clinical Operations subject matter expert.

  • You possess extremely strong project management, leadership, work ethic, ownership, and communication skills.

  • You have proven experience managing trial portfolios and overseeing multiple complex trials simultaneously.

  • You demonstrate strong commercial acumen, including managing trial-level commercial matters (scope clarifications, timeline adjustments, budget discussions) and owning sponsor account relationships.

  • You have extensive people leadership experience, including line management, performance reviews, and professional development.

  • You are skilled at proactive risk identification and developing strategies to protect study integrity, data quality, and patient safety.

  • You can bridge commercial and operational functions, contributing to business development and supporting prospect engagement with operational expertise.

  • You thrive in a remote work environment and can effectively lead and develop a distributed team while maintaining strong sponsor relationships.

  • You are passionate about creating optimal working practices, developing SOPs, and leading training programs.

  • You demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and serve as a role model for junior team members.

  • You're proactive in contributing to new business opportunities and take initiative to network on behalf of the Lindus team.

  • You embody Lindus Health values: Be Transparent, High Agency, and Benefit Patients.
