Child Protection & Assessment Social Worker

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a forward-thinking Child Protection and Assessment Team for its client based in Cheshire East.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a well-supported frontline service, focusing on child protection and initial assessments, while benefiting from a separate Court Team that manages all legal proceedings.

• →Carry out initial assessments and Section 47 enquiries to determine risk and next steps.
• →Manage Child Protection and Child in Need cases through effective planning and intervention.
• →Attend strategy discussions, CP conferences, and core groups.
• →No court work – all legal proceedings are handled by a dedicated Court Team.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration.
• At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in CP and/or assessment.
• Confidence in decision-making, risk analysis, and multi-agency collaboration.
• Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to apply).
