Technical Product Owner

Full-time / Hybrid model (3 days in the office)

At Livesport, we deliver sports data to millions of fans around the world the exact second it happens. To smoothly handle the massive traffic spikes during major sports events, we rely on our own data centers, cloud setup, and robust architecture.

And now we’re looking for an Associate Technical Product Owner to join our Product team with focus on Infrastructure. Are you currently working in IT (as a DevOps engineer, sysadmin, QA, or backend dev) and want to move away from pure hands-on technical work toward project coordination and product management?

Never worked in this role before? No problem! We’ll teach you the business side. What matters to us is your solid IT foundation, a product mindset, and the drive to learn 🚀

• Bridge the gap between Tech and Product: You’ll help us to make the right decisions in translating product needs to the right infrastructure projects.

• Support infrastructure project delivery: You’ll coordinate day-to-day tasks for our infrastructure teams, track project milestones, and help remove roadblocks.

• Learn product management on the job: You’ll gradually learn how to prioritize backlog tasks and evaluate technical requests from a business perspective.

• Get involved in world challenges: You’ll assist with key initiatives—such as helping set up defenses against scrapers and bots or supporting server migration efforts.

• Leverage AI to streamline work: You’ll use modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor, n8n) to write project specs, generate documentation, and automate routine admin work.

• IT background (DevOps, Sysadmin, QA, Backend, or Tech Support): You understand core tech concepts—you know what cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DNS, or rollbacks mean in practice.

• Desire to transition into Product / Project Management: You want to step away from coding, manual testing, or midnight alerts and focus more on communication, organization, technical analysis and decision making from the product perspective.

• Healthy growth ambition: Over time you will gain significant experience covering datacenters and cloud of truly global products, the role would become instrumental in shaping our infrastructure to stay aligned and keep up with product needs.

• Good communication skills: You can explain complex technical topics in plain terms and enjoy working with people across different teams.

• Proactive attitude: You don't wait for complete instructions; when you hit a wall, you ask questions, gather info, and help find a way forward.

• Interest in AI: You actively experiment with or use AI tools (LLMs) to make your daily work easier and faster.
