Leon Medical Centers is looking for a licensed and skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care to our patients across Miami-Dade County. In this role, you will help restore pulmonary function, alleviate discomfort, and support life through medically prescribed respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

→Conduct pulmonary function tests; assess and interpret evaluations and test results.
→Develop respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
→Administer inhalants, operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas systems, and aerosol generators.
→Evaluate treatment effectiveness and recommend adjustments.
→Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and equipment use.
→Document patient care services accurately in patient and department records.
→Rotate on-call as needed and participate in training, meetings, and special projects.
→Comply with Leon Medical Centers’ policies and maintain confidentiality.
