Pipe Welder

• →Perform FCAW, and GMAW welding processes as required.
• →Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and weld procedures.
• →Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping
• →Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• →Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• →Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
• 2G,3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred
• 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
• Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Previous experience in industrial, power, semiconductor, mining, or manufacturing environments.
• Current welding certifications or documented weld qualifications.
• Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be a quick learner and motivated.
• Must be able to work as a team and solve problems.

• This position may require travel to various project sites. Mostly outdoors, potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Construction environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Walking in uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day.
• Standing/sitting for long periods, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs & ladders, and kneeling.
