Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We’re seeking a Senior QA Specialist (IC4) to lead quality assurance efforts across complex projects, ensuring both front-end and back-end systems meet the highest standards.

The Role

• Analyze complex requirements and design comprehensive test plans, applying advanced test design techniques and modifying plans based on reviews.
• Guide and mentor QA team in selecting appropriate testing methodologies, including Smoke, Regression, User Acceptance, E2E and Load/Performance testing.
• Independently execute high-quality testing across web, mobile and backend systems, identifying edge cases, exposing system flaws and ensuring scalability under load.
• Lead test automation efforts, maintaining and optimising scripts, providing PR review feedback and supporting team members in framework setup and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers and stakeholders to anticipate issues, address gaps early and integrate QA strategy into the development lifecycle.
• Leverage customer feedback and industry best practices to improve products, tools and services, sharing insights across the company.
• Take ownership of project outcomes, proactively reporting risks, resolving challenges and ensuring clarity in expectations with team members and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior/mid-level QA engineers, fostering collaboration, constructive feedback and an inclusive, respectful team culture.
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, presenting confidently in global meetings and ensuring transparency across teams.

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in test automation for web and/or mobile applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise in designing and executing complex test plans, test cases and automated scripts
• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks (non-web driver approaches preferred), CI/CD pipelines and API/Backend testing
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages; experience with UI, integration and functional testing
• Familiarity with debugging tools, version control systems (GIT), IDEs (IntelliJ, VS Code) and DevOps pipelines (Azure, Jenkins, Bitbucket. Github actions)
• Proven ability to independently deliver high quality results and guide QA team members
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and non technical audiences.

• Experience contributing to or evolving a test automation platform
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing approaches (e.g., test generation, analysis, or quality insights)
• Experience with performance/load testing and scaling automated test frameworks for complex products
