The faculty member will teach courses primarily in medical-surgical and geriatric nursing at various levels in the practical nursing program. Faculty member may also need to fill in to assist with staffing in the assocate degree nursing courses.

Responsibilities will include teaching lecture, lab, and clinical components of courses in the program. The faculty member will be expected to participate in nursing curriculum development, and assessment of course and program outcomes.  They will also be expected to participate and contribute to program reviews, assessment of student achievement; and advisement of students in curricular and discipline-related matters when appropriate.

The faculty member will participate in College and program governance; engage in scholarship and professional growth; support the LCCC mission, vision and values; and pursue and attain tenure. 

Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel to various lab and clinical sites off main campus.

The salary is commensurate with experience and supported by a comprehensive fringe benefits package. Established in 1963, Lorain County Community College is the first community college in Ohio with a permanent campus.
