We are looking for a curious, analytical mind capable of uncovering patterns within massive datasets to solve the nation’s most challenging security problems. You won’t just be running models; you will be a strategic storyteller, using data to drive innovation and provide clarity in high-stakes environments.
This role will support and represent LufCo with our industry partners within the Ft. Meade market. At LufCo, you’ll do more than fill a role—you’ll help build what’s next. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Predictive Modeling: Design and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and frameworks to automate decision-making and build high-fidelity predictive models.
- →Advanced Analytics: Apply rigorous statistical methods—including regression, hypothesis testing, and probability distributions—to extract deep insights from mission-critical data.
- →Data Wrangling: Transform, clean, and organize complex, disparate raw data into high-quality, usable formats ready for sophisticated analysis.
- →Database Management: Efficiently extract and manipulate data across both relational and non-relational systems to support analytical workflows.
- →Data Storytelling: Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards that translate technical findings into clear, impactful narratives for stakeholders.
Requirements

- B.S. Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field with 1-10 years of experience.
OR
- 9–14 years of professional experience in data science or analytical roles in lieu of a degree
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas) for general manipulation and R for statistical depth.
- Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn.
- Data Systems: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Visualization: Skilled in communicating findings via tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar dashboarding platforms.
