Long View is seeking a Finance Business Partner for our Head Office team, based in Calgary, AB, who is more than just a numbers person. You’ll act as a trusted financial advisor to our branch leaders—translating financial insights into actionable strategies that drive performance and unlock value.

Serve as the strategic finance liaison to branch leadership across North America.

Lead budget and forecast cycles, provide monthly financial insights, and guide decision-making through data.

Analyze results, identify trends, and communicate the “why” behind the numbers—not just the “what.”

Deliver value-added financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis for special initiatives.

Prepare dynamic, data-informed reporting packages for senior leaders.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes, and planning accuracy.

Inquisitive and forward-thinking: You seek to understand root causes and anticipate future challenges.

Relationship builder and collaborator: you cultivate strong partnerships across the business, build trust quickly, and align stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and shared outcomes.

Clear and impactful communicator: you translate complex financial concepts into concise, actionable insights, ensuring clarity and understanding at all levels of the organization.

Analytical and objective: You bring a data-driven, unbiased perspective to business conversations.

Strategic and agile: You easily pivot between high-level planning and detailed analysis.

Growth-minded: You’re always learning, adapting, and looking for ways to create more impact.

7+ years’ experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting

Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Exceptional skills in Excel; comfortable with PowerPoint and the full Microsoft suite

Strong interpersonal and partnering capabilities—you work well across teams and leadership levels

Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting (preferred)

Working towards CPA certification

Bonus: Experience in the consulting industry, D365 experience and Solver experience
