We are looking for a client-focused and dynamic Deskside Support Consultant for our Houston branch. You will contribute to the business by providing support to end users’ queries related to their software, hardware, and computing platforms in a professional and courteous manner

Assist end users with questions about any of our supported software and computing platforms in a professional and courteous manner

Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking

Monitor the performance of clients’ desktop infrastructure and device plans for improved efficiency

Install applications and computer peripherals

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a variety of environments

Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue

Customize desktop applications to meet user needs

2-4 years of related experience

1+ year(s) of customer service experience

Supporting a Microsoft environment in a deskside support role

Microsoft 365 Apps (Office), including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint

Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

Remote support

PC / printer hardware/VPN/Citrix

Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) in hybrid environments

Supporting device management tools

Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers

Knowledge of network security practices and endpoint security tools

Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

Long View Systems (LVS) is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible, full-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week. You share the costs of some benefits (medical/prescription, dental, vision) and LVS provides other benefits at no cost to you (group life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability).
