Part-Time Human Resources Intern – Creve Coeur, Missouri (St. Louis Area)

Stange Law Firm, PC has an immediate opening for a motivated, organized, and professional Human Resources Intern to assist the Human Resources Director.

Our St. Louis-area headquarters is relocating from Clayton to our newly renovated Creve Coeur office on August 1, 2026, making this an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest family law firms in the country.

This internship provides valuable, hands-on experience in human resources, employee relations, personnel administration, benefits, compliance, and organizational development. It is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Business Administration.

Position Details
  • Part-time position

  • 20-29 hours per week

  • Monday-Friday

  • Hours between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

  • Hourly pay of $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Director.

  • Assist with maintaining confidential personnel files and employee records.

  • Assist with employee relations matters and HR projects.

  • Support employee onboarding and other human resources initiatives.

  • Assist with employee compensation, benefits administration, and organizational development programs.

  • Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, including COBRA, the ADA, the FMLA, and other applicable laws.

  • Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining Firm policies and procedures.

  • Help communicate and enforce Firm policies and procedures.

  • Support training and professional development initiatives.

  • Maintain a positive attitude while supporting the Firm's goals through teamwork and professionalism.

  • Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Excellent attendance and dependability.

  • Interest in human resources, employment law, or organizational development.

  • Prior human resources, recruiting, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
