We're looking for a full-time Preschool Assistant Teacher who is enthusiastic, caring, and committed to helping young children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Must meet New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) requirements for employment in a child care program
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working with young children in a licensed child care center, preschool, or early learning environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Genuine passion for working with children

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can thrive.

Responsibilities

→Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

→Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

→Supervising children to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment

→Encouraging independence through hands-on learning and play

→Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

→Assisting with meals, transitions, outdoor play, and daily routines

→Following all OCFS regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies

→Collaborating with teachers and center leadership to provide exceptional care
