Senior Product Operations Manager
Quick Summary
Who We Are; What We Do; Where We’re Going Magnet Forensics is a global leader in the development of digital investigative software that acquires, analyzes, and shares evidence from computers,
Product Operations is the connective tissue of the product organization. We drive key cross-functional initiatives and build the processes, data, and systems that let Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and other functions operate as one motion — from roadmap planning through pricing, market launch, sales readiness and renewal.
As Senior Product Operations Manager, you own the operational backbone of the product organization: the recurring business cadences that keep leadership aligned, the analytics that tell us whether the strategy is working, and the tooling that makes the whole team faster. You will run cross-functional programs, and new initiatives end to end, turn messy inputs into a clear single source of truth, and be trusted to represent the product organization in rooms with senior leaders. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role for someone who is equally comfortable designing a process, building a model, establishing stakeholder alignment, and driving a decision to close.
- Design, and operationalize cross-functional processes across Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering — including clear ownership models (e.g., RACI) that hold each function accountable for its part of the motion.
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end: define scope, sequence workstreams, manage dependencies and timelines, and drive to decisions rather than status updates.
- Identify friction and bottlenecks in how the product org operates, and ship durable process improvements rather than one-off fixes.
- Own the recurring operating rhythm of the product org — QBRs, steering committees, executive updates, and planning reviews — including templates, scheduling, content, and follow-through on action items.
- Synthesize data and narrative into executive-scannable materials with a clear point of view; make it easy for leaders to make fast, informed decisions.
- Coordinate annual/strategic planning and OKR cycles: templates, deadlines, roadmap consolidation, and alignment across functions.
- Build and maintain the metrics that define product and revenue health — ARR, NRR, retention, products-per-account, attach/adoption rates, and license/segment mix — and keep methodology consistent and defensible.
- Turn ad hoc business questions into repeatable analyses; segment cohorts (e.g., new-logo vs. expansion), size opportunities, and surface the “so what,” not just the numbers.
- Steward data quality and definitions across the product organization so everyone is working from the same trusted source.
- Serve as a trusted operational partner to Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering leaders — translating between functions and keeping initiatives moving.
- Absorb and stabilize workstreams during transitions and build the documentation and structure that reduce key-person risk.

Cross-functional partnership
- 5-7 years of experience in product operations, business operations, strategy & operations, program management, or a comparable analytical/operational role — ideally in B2B SaaS.
- A track record of owning cross-functional programs end to end, with the judgment to drive alignment among senior stakeholders who don't report to you.
- An understanding of and experience with the product lifecycle and of the Product Management and User Experience functions; and how these roles interface with other functional teams in a high-caliber organization.
- Strong quantitative fluency: comfort building models and analyses in spreadsheets, working with SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, retention, attach, cohort analysis), and reasoning about data quality and methodology.
- Working proficiency with SQL and/or BI tools, and comfort querying a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) and a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to answer business questions independently.
- Excellent written communication — able to produce clear, executive-ready materials and distill complexity into a crisp recommendation.
- A builder bias: you turn recurring work into durable tools, templates, and processes rather than repeating manual effort.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and the ownership instinct to make progress without waiting for perfect direction.
- Prior experience in a similar Product or Business Operations role.
- Experience administering product/roadmap tools (e.g., Aha!), product analytics (e.g., Amplitude), and issue tracking (e.g., Jira).
- Hands-on experience adopting or enabling AI tools within a team, including writing enablement documentation.
- Familiarity with go-to-market motions, pricing/packaging, and SKU or product-catalog structures.
- Experience supporting or facilitating governance forums (steering committees, planning councils, QBRs).
- Background in a technical, security, or forensics domain, or another domain with a complex product portfolio.
- PMP or related Program Management certifications are nice but not a requirement.
