We're looking for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships, uncovering great talent and helping teams make confident hiring decisions.

You'll take ownership of recruitment across our UK studio, partnering closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Production, Art, Design, Creative and Operations to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruiting strategies and attract exceptional people.

Our hiring needs vary depending on the projects we're delivering and where the business is growing. At times you'll be managing permanent hiring alongside fast-moving freelance and project requirements; at others, you'll have more opportunity to focus on talent pipelines, market insight and initiatives that improve how we recruit.

You'll work with a high degree of autonomy and partner with our Talent Acquisition Director on wider hiring priorities and initiatives. Recruiting here isn't always straightforward: priorities can change, requirements aren't always fully defined, and you'll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions and using your judgement to keep things moving.

Throughout, you'll work closely with hiring managers as a trusted recruiting partner - providing perspective and insight, challenging assumptions when needed, and helping teams make great hiring decisions.

This role is open to candidates based anywhere in the UK and can be remote, hybrid or studio-based depending on your preference. Our UK studio is based in St Albans.
  • Manage full-cycle permanent, freelance and project recruitment across a variety of technical, creative, production, product and operational roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Take ownership of hiring processes, keeping stakeholders informed and maintaining momentum from initial brief through to hire
  • Source and engage high-quality candidates through a variety of channels
  • Screen and assess candidates against role requirements and organisational fit
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process and provide an excellent candidate experience
  • Coordinate effective interview and assessment processes and help stakeholders make confident hiring decisions
  • Support offer creation, negotiation and onboarding activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Develop knowledge of the disciplines and talent markets you support, providing relevant market insight and recruiting guidance to stakeholders
  • Identify potential risks or challenges within hiring processes and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve them
  • Contribute to recruiting initiatives and help us continuously improve our processes, tools and ways of working
    • Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment, ideally within the technology, creative, games or entertainment industries
    • Demonstrated success sourcing and attracting high-quality talent
    • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • The ability to build credibility and work effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organisation
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities with a high degree of autonomy
    • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting your approach as priorities or requirements change
    • Good judgement, with the confidence to make decisions, identify risks and proactively suggest solutions
    • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines
    • An understanding of recruitment best practices and the UK hiring landscape
    • A genuine desire to help candidates, hiring managers and colleagues succeed
  • Experience recruiting within the games, creative technology, VFX or media & entertainment industries
  • Experience recruiting both technical and creative talent across multiple disciplines
  • Experience supporting distributed or international teams
  • Experience helping to improve recruiting processes, tools or operational practices
  • Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced recruiters
  • Experience working in scaling or evolving organisations
  • If you're excited by the opportunity to help build great teams, enjoy working with smart and creative people, and believe you could be successful in the role, we'd love to hear from you.
