Job Title: Head of Agile Delivery
Location: Skopje

Role Summary:

The Head of Agile Delivery is responsible for leading the agile delivery function.

This role involves overseeing the progress of both the execution of MAK’s technology transformation initiatives and the ongoing usage and implementation of Agile practices across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing transformation roadmaps, managing project governance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, all while ensuring that Agile methodologies are consistently applied to deliver software efficiently and with high quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee Agile delivery across multiple teams, providing guidance and support to Agile practitioners (e.g., Scrum Masters, Product Owners).
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement, refine, and enhance Agile frameworks, adapting as necessary to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Identify, establish, and monitor Agile KPIs to measure and optimize delivery performance.
  • Guiding the Scrum Masters team in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and self-organisation.
  • Identify and manage risks to delivery, proactively addressing issues that impact team performance and delivery timelines.
  • Establish clear metrics to assess delivery effectiveness, team productivity, and project timelines.
  • Analyse Agile metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

 

 

Objectives:



  • Implement the Scaled Agile framework across all relevant teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency in delivery.
  • Establish regular reporting practices to monitor the health of Agile practices and share insights with executives and stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and regularly communicate Agile processes, benefits, and progress.
  • Manage and align stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Extensive experience leading large-scale Agile delivery initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with a proven track record of scaling Agile practices across an organization.
  • Expertise in IT project management, governance, and risk management, with strong knowledge of Agile project frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is highly desirable.

  • Agile Leadership: Experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams and driving the adoption of Agile methodologies across an organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence and manage a wide range of stakeholders, driving alignment and delivering value through technology transformation.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in risk identification and mitigation within complex project environments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on delivering continuous improvements to processes and technology.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
