We are a leading professional services firm specialising in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to international businesses.


We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and project management experience to spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing workflow efficiency, advancing automation, and optimising service delivery.


This role requires a strong understanding of finance, advanced technical skills, and effective project management capabilities. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with partners and managers to identify areas for improvement, leverage innovative technologies to streamline operations, and oversee the full implementation of digital transformation projects.


This position will be permanently based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Research emerging trends, tools, and process enhancements relevant to Outsourcing services (e.g., accounting, payroll and corporate secretaries’ functions).
  • Evaluate and deploy automation tools, integrations, and workflow management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in Outsourcing.
  • Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of system and process enhancements.
  • Plan and monitor innovation project performance, track results, report outcomes and impact of innovation projects to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintains regular communication with Forvis Mazars’ regional and global innovation communities to exchange best practices.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design and develop solutions that enhance the efficiency of outsourcing operations, including client-facing and internal processes.
  • Develops training materials and delivers training sessions to ensure smooth adoption by relevant teams.
  • Supports the onboarding and governance of innovation tools, ensuring compliance with internal policies on data protection, risk management, and IT governance.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends in financial technology, automation, and process transformation relevant to the accounting industry.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related fields.
  • Has at least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a professional services firm.
  • Deep understanding of Singapore accounting operations and compliance requirements – accounting, tax and payroll.
  • Hands-on experience in system implementation, automation tools, or workflow optimisation.
  • Technical skills such as Excel VBA, SQL, Power BI or basic programming (e.g., Python) will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, including spoken and written English, and the ability to work across all levels. 
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Client service focused, entrepreneurial and commercial thinker.
