We are hiring a Director of Growth Strategy to help evolve our Customer Success organization toward a more intentional, value-driven expansion motion. This is a commercial–customer success hybrid role for someone who has operated at the intersection of account strategy, renewals, and growth—but prefers influence and leverage over carrying a personal quota. The role is strategic and hands-on, focused on strengthening commercial rigor, value storytelling, and consultative account leadership across our CS team.
You will partner closely with CS leaders, managers, and senior CSMs to move the organization from reactive support to proactive, outcome-driven engagement—supporting renewals, expansion readiness, and complex customer conversations.
- Partner with CS leadership to shape a sustainable expansion and renewal strategy
- Coach CSMs and managers on commercial mindset, value-based narratives, and navigating difficult customer conversations
- Support deal strategy, renewals, pricing discussions, and scope alignment
- Drive strong account strategies focused on outcomes, value, and stakeholder alignment
- Join customer conversations as a strategic partner for high-stakes renewals or growth discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Business Partners to ensure alignment between customer value, product reality, and commercial commitments
- 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Commercial Strategy, Sales, or a hybrid CS/Sales role in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience leading or influencing renewals, expansions, and pricing or scope discussions
- Strong commercial judgment paired with a customer-first, consultative mindset
- Experience coaching senior ICs and people managers on deal strategy and difficult conversations
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping teams move from accommodation to clear recommendations
- Strategic thinker who is also highly practical and execution-oriented

The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. For roles based in United States, the estimated range for Base Salary for this role is $217,000 - $247,000.
