Maven is looking for a Senior Benefits Consultant (Labor & Public Sector), who will report to the Head of Growth Enablement & Strategic Alliances, and be accountable for converting the consultant-influenced pipeline to sales. This role will build strategies for their territory and core consulting firm relationships, create pipeline, progress deals and drive bookings with a particular focus on labor and public sector markets. Success is measured by pipeline, win-rates and closed booking, with targets aligned to company growth goals.
What We Offer
~3 min read- 7-10+ years of experience with deep expertise in the employer benefits ecosystem and a strong network of broker and consultant relationships, including exposure to labor and/or public sector segments
- Proven ability to own and grow strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to create and advance deal pipeline
- Track record of driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives independently and delivering against business goals
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and position Maven effectively
- Ability to translate product and clinical value into clear, compelling messaging for external stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally to align teams and drive outcomes
- Operates effectively in fast-paced environments, bringing structure and improving processes where needed
- Preferred qualifications:
- Background in and/or passion for working in family health
- Experience operating within Salesforce or similar CRM to manage pipeline and performance
The base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $235,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates based in the New York Metropolitan area, or remote from within the US. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
