About the Role

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Pediatrician based in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia who is fluent in Mandarin to support our members through virtual care services.

As a Maven provider, you will connect with members globally, helping scale access to high-quality pediatric care. You will join a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, all dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care. As we continue to expand across 175+ countries, we are growing our best-in-class global provider network.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual care, education, and support to parents and caregivers on pediatric health and development
  • Address common pediatric concerns, including newborn care, feeding, sleep, growth, and developmental milestones
  • Offer guidance on acute, non-emergency conditions (e.g., fever, infections, minor illnesses)
  • Support parents in navigating healthcare systems and preparing for in-person visits when needed
  • Advise on preventive care, including vaccinations, nutrition, and early childhood development
  • Document encounter summaries in Maven’s practice management system (MPractice)
  • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure continuity of care, including referrals and follow-ups
  • Act as an ambassador of Maven’s care model, delivering culturally sensitive, family-centered care
  • Currently residing in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Licensed medical doctor with specialization in Pediatrics, registered with the relevant medical council (e.g., Singapore Medical Council) and in good standing
  • Holds a recognized medical degree and postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in pediatric practice preferred
  • Experience in telehealth or outpatient pediatric care is an advantage
  • No history of malpractice claims or disciplinary action
  • Able to commit approximately 2 hours per week; this is a part-time, independent contractor role
  • Comfortable delivering care via a digital health platform
  • Compassionate, family-centered, and committed to improving child health outcomes
  • Flexibility. Meet with members virtually, when and where it’s convenient for you.
  • Expand your practice. Supplement your regular practice through Maven’s proprietary, secure telehealth platform:
    • Provide care via video and private messaging
    • Participate in unique opportunities, e.g. moderating community forums, leading virtual member classes, writing or reviewing educational articles 
    • In-person referrals to your practice 
  • Training & events. Optional participation in Maven sponsored lectures, panels, and/or other speaking opportunities as needed
