At Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America (MBRDNA), we are committed to delivering world-class automotive technologies that push the boundaries of what is possible. Our teams of highly skilled engineers and designers use cutting-edge software and technology, to enhance the driving experience and reduce environmental impact.

The US Vehicle Integration team at Mercedes-Benz is pivotal in establishing the brand's technological leadership in the US luxury market. The team works collaboratively to drive innovation by translating US customer feedback into impactful propositions, focusing on software-defined vehicles and thorough testing across various domains, including infotainment, connected car, E/E systems, and BEV/HEV charging technologies. Together with supporting Mercedes-Benz North America vehicle workshops and operations, their efforts ensure a seamless customer experience that uphold Mercedes-Benz's high standards.

As an OTA Development Engineer, you will help validate and execute OTA software campaigns across Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles, with a focus on electric vehicles, infotainment, telematics, E/E systems, ADAS, and connected car technologies.

With the growing importance of software in vehicles, the course for the future has been set at Mercedes-Benz. Based on the Mercedes-Benz Operation System (MBOS), an integral part is the possibility to roll out new software functions and further developments to customer vehicles over-the-air and update them.

In this role, you will work closely with Mercedes-Benz AG headquarters, local engineering teams, workshops, and cross-functional stakeholders to prepare vehicles, define test scope, execute OTA campaigns, perform end-to-end validation, document results, and support market-specific release recommendations. You will perform testing using prototype vehicles and will focus on Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. Most testing locations will be in the local Atlanta area, but occasional domestic and international travel is required.

The engineer should be consistently engaged in customer feedback, market changes and business priorities as per ISO-9001 standards.

In 2026, MBRDNA is establishing a Technical Center in Atlanta, GA. The engineer will be positioned in Atlanta beginning in July 2026 and will work from Long Beach, CA from the date of hire until the date of relocation. Be part of our testing team now to work on exciting products and topics of tomorrow!
