1. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
2. Maine driver's license.

1. Emotional maturity and excellent interpersonal skills.
2. Strong creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

1. Five to seven years of experience in marketing or public relations. Prior health care experience preferred but not required.
2. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
3. Experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.
4. Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
5. Computer literacy, including word processing, desktop publishing and graphic design.
6. Budget management.

1. Requires long periods of sitting and use of computer terminal.

Environment:

Mostly an office environment, some travel required.
