As a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT), you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care in the environments where children thrive. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care
  • Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
