As a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care in the environments where children thrive. Requirements
~1 min read- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
- One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician-approved plans of care
- →Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait, and functional independence
- →Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs
- →Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- →Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- →Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- →Flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities
